Join Us Sunday to Experience the Wonder!
We offer education and care for children from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday thru Friday. We provide extended daycare (before and after school) for elementary students, and we pick up from seven local schools:
We also provide full daycare for those students in our extended care program when the public schools are closed.
We provide free, FDA-approved hot meals to your children for breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. Since our staff cooks all our meals from scratch, we've been recognized for providing the best meals in the county.
We have worked hard to become one of the top early educational centers in the county and the state. Our average VPK school readiness score over the past 11 years is 96. We were designated a School of Excellence with our accreditation agencies for more than the past 10 years.
Our average health and safety inspection score is a 98. When your children leave our center for elementary school, they know their letters, sounds, sound blends, numbers, can count to 100, can do simple addition and subtraction and have a foundation to succeed not just in education but in life.
Our main center with the extended care program is at our main campus at 206 Midway Road, across the street from Greenway Elementary and just east of Walmart, in Ocala, Florida. We have three new playgrounds, and our facility is newly renovated. It is inviting, clean and creates a home like peaceful atmosphere.
Our second location is at 504 Emerald Road at the corner of Emerald Road and Maricamp Road, also in the Shores, and the facility was also recently renovated and is very inviting.
We have higher teacher standards, including a plan for continued education and improvement. Before our teachers can be in classrooms, they must have documentation showing they've passed a Level 2 Background Check and have taken introductory courses for childcare.
After 1 year, they must complete the required Florida Department of Children and Families training, and every year they are required to achieve 20 hours of continued education. They are required to read two books per year, and attend conferences and trainings. All staff members are required to pass CPR/First Aid/AED training, and take any additional training necessary to perform their duties and responsibilities properly. Every teacher has a Professional Growth and a Spiritual Growth Plan.
Members of our food service staff all must have their Food Handling Certificates and acquired many hours of professional experience in the food service industry.
